Isolating the drains that reach the Euphrates River in the liberated eastern countryside of Raqqa
The Directorate of Operation and Maintenance in the Middle Euphrates Basin began to isolate the drains that reach the Euphrates River in the liberated eastern countryside of Raqqa due to the emergence of water weeds
The Director of Operation and Maintenance in the Middle Euphrates Basin, Abdul Rahman Al-Ali, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the removal process took place in the area between Al-Khamisiya and Al-Suwayda due to a significant rise in the level of drains, pointing out that the divers cleaned the nozzles of the pipes on the Euphrates River at the Al-Maghla pumping station, where the water weeds attacked. During this period, the pumping station is abundant in the main propulsion pipelines, which affected the flows of the station
Al-Ali indicated that this period is critical for irrigating agricultural lands, as two out of three pumps operate due to the low level of the Euphrates River
